“Beihai Park 北海公园” was painted on location, plein air, as people came and went. Beihai Park is a famous park in Beijing. The two girls in the image are wearing Hanfu and manchu inspired headpieces. They sat in front of me as I began drawing them, and then 2 minutes later suddenly left before I could finish. Fortunately there were many similarly dressed girls walking around. It is a common practice in China to dress up and go get photos taken at a park.
Each artwork will be signed dated and sent in a secure envelope.
Each print will also be signed and numbered.
Materials and Dimensions:
Original: 180x260mm , 300gsm Cotton Watercolour Paper framed in basic white frame.
